Concrete Pump Truck & Form for Navigational Aid Base

The crew has built a form to pour a new concrete base for the navigational aid towers for the Salisbury jetty. Both old towers were taken and their concrete bases demolished in the first few weeks of jetty repairs. The form was built on top of a wood platform on the beach. A pump truck was brought in to pump concrete from the paved parking lot to the form on the beach.

  1. It is interesting that this navigational base was able to use a concrete truck and form to build platforms on the beach. I didn't realize how large concrete pump trucks can be. It seems like it is important to take the proper safety measures when operating this type of equipment since it is so big. http://masterlinkpumping.com/?page_id=19
