Truck Week: Medium size Stone Delivery
The core of the jetty was filled medium size stones. These were brought in by dump truck. A large pile of this stone was created near the Merrimack River to make it easily accessible for the crane to grab it with clamshell bucket. The follow video shows a medium size stone delivery by dump truck. Not the most exciting but part of the whole process. The sound the stones tumbling out of the truck can be heard on the video.
