These photos document the condition of the North Jetty at the end of April 2015 just before repair work is scheduled to begin. The two navigational aids (i.e. metal towers), one midway along the jetty and the other at the very end of it will be removed and replaced after repairs are made to the stone work. Currently a length of sandy beach exists between the concrete seawall and the jetty. Plans call for the jetty to be lengthened to fill the gap between the seawall and the jetty. The final photo show a short stone groin that extends out from the jetty. This will be repaired as well.
Nice pics! Keep them coming.
